FA Reprives Jordan Pickford Tackle On Virgil van Dijk

England FA has officially confirmed that Everton's number 1 goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford will NOT be punished for his tackle on Liverpool's center back Virgil van Dijk. His tackle come during the additional minutes of the match which led to mass criticsm from football fans across the world.

In what seemed to be a faulty tackle by Pickford, FA did not see any valid reason to punish Jordan on that incident. The crucial challenge has made the Liverpool defender set to undergo knee surgery that is estimated to blow him out the whole of these season. Virgil van Dijk suffered a grade three tear of his anterior cruciate ligament.

Liverpool fans have shown dissatisfaction with the decision after as well being denied a goal by VAR that could have seen them with the derby tie. The match ended with 2-2 draw making Liverpool stay in 3rd position and Everton leading the league.
