There is an absolutely tough battle amongst three EPL teams i.e. Chelsea, Leicester, and Manchester United for the third and fourth place given that the first two top positions are already taken by Liverpool and Manchester City respectively.

Chelsea looks to be highly poised to retain the third position after a narrow win yesternight against the already relegated Norwich city. But given the club’s record, they seem like they have already secured the third position but they have two tough games to face. They face champions Liverpool and big team’s spoilers’ Wolverhampton wanderers but again it’s not certain that they will drop any point given the fact that they the two teams previously by knocking Liverpool out of the fa cup and thrashing wolves in their early league encounter. High flying Man Utd also seems to be another right candidate for the third position. They require a maximum of nine points and hoping that Chelsea drops a point in their remaining games for them to be guaranteed the number three spot.

The Red Devils seem to win their entire seasons games on paper but in any case, they happen to slip, they will have to square it out with Leicester city for the number four spot with whom they are currently equal on points, separated by a goal difference of 3 goals and with whom they end their season against on the final day of the season but given United’s history, United have always been winning their last league games and the Leicester’s encounter doesn’t seem to be of much threat to them also considering their current form in the league.

Leicester City on the other hand seem to be underrated by the other candidates because of their recent form in the league and maybe much on the history but they still pose a threat given the fact that they had a great season with their main man Jemy Verdy on a high form to grab the golden boot will truly give a fight of the season to ensure they qualify for the champions league.
