January transfer window 2020, sees big clubs seeking ways to strengthen their squads before the end of the month. Premier League clubs are allowed to make changes to their squad lists throughout the transfer window. Here are some of the top latest news, gossip and stories regarding the transfer window since it was officially opened.

English Premier League defending champions Manchester are rumored to be in talks for the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderer wing-back Adama Traoré. Adama Traoré was the main man in City's Defeat during their home clash with the "Cityzens". Pep Guardiola, after being impressed with Adama's game display, is making a move to sign the winger. Also, Man City is 'ready to offer €45m' for Juventus defender Merih Demiral in a move to tighten their defense. The Turkish defender is reportedly open for the transfer window.

Wolverhampton Wanderer forward, Patrick Cutrone, has joined Serie A club Fiorentina on an 18-month loan deal, which includes an option to buy clause. The 22-year-old, who joined in a £16million deal from AC Milan last summer, has been unable to dislodge Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez from the starting XI. Cutrone scored twice in 12 Premier League show ups, three of which were starts, for the Wolves. This leaves room for Mexican Forward to be the first choice for Wolves. Emre Can has reportedly rejected a move to the "Red Devils" due to his close ties with Liverpool. The Germany midfielder played for the Reds from 2014 to the year 2018, before joining Juventus on arrival of Oxlade Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

Furthermore, Manchester United are close on a deal in signing Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese playmaker has had a good time in Sporting CP, and he is now ready to take on a new jersey in a new club. Manchester United are currently holding talks which will see the midfielder joining "The Red Devils".

Chelsea, on the other hand, is edging closer to the signing of Lyon's Moussa Dembele. The Frenchman has been the key target of Frank Lampard since the opening of the transfer window. Chelsea 'demand £45m for Batshuayi as Palace & Villa cool transfer interest'. Chelsea is asking a staggering £45million for Michy Batshuayi to slow the race for the Belgian striker. Stamford Bridge chiefs are quoting the massive figure to interested clubs, with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa reeling at the news.

Chelsea claims they will not send Batshuayi, 26, out on loan again after his recent stint at Palace — but the impasse may cause a long-term problem. Moussa Dembele is intended to reinforce the young midfield of Chelsea along with other key players. This is deemed to be a strong pillar to "The Blues".

Aston Villa has completed a loan-move of goalkeeper Pepe Reina from AC Milan. Aston Villa are looking for all means that will enable them to remain in the EPL next season as their struggles continue Inter Milan are interested in signing Chelsea abandoned forward Olivier Giroud. Giroud who played under Antonio Conte during the 2017/2018 EPL, has received rivalry competition from Chelsea's top striker Tammy Abraham, which made him always on the bench for the better part of last year. Conte is keen to sign the forward amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
